Look Ma! Both Hands!

I haven't used my sewing machine since the Clinton years. I broke my streak this week as I ventured out to clothe my family room windows, in a feeble attempt to prove that I'm not completely domestically dead inside. Looks like the machine still works!

I HAD EXTRA FRINGE, SO SAMANTHA SUGGESTED WE PIMP UP THE LAMPS. NOT BAD!

Oh, I am proud of you.

I too got my sewing machine out this past weekend. I do not have a healthy relationship with my sewing machine. I had to make a shruggy, shawly, bolero-ey type jacket for the daughter's Valentine's prom dress. It did not turn out so well. I had to go to the fabric store again yesterday to buy yet more fabric and will attempt jacket number 2 tonight.

I have so had it with the needy teenager. I'm just saying....

That looks really great! I'll need to talk to you in more detail about what how you did it. (I still have many windows to dress up.) What if you want to block the light??

Awesome, girl. And curtains are very forgiving, so it's a good place to start.

Hey, will you come solve my window issues? Our 6' WIDE and 3' Tall bathroom windows are open to all our glory every morn and evening. Good thing we live on a busy street...we help wake everyone up.

I got your message about the rods, and was a big loser and didn't call you back in time. I see you found them. I was going to suggest JoAnn's that is where I found alli's. Your curtains are beautiful Kristy. Great job.
