I have been seeing your comments on Andrea's blog and was curious about you. Now reading this -my favorite post EVER!- and the description of yourself I have to say you have made my day! Thanks for the laughter, and I hope you don't mind me lurking around your blog.
Thank you. I finally feel validated about the way I felt when I watched it years and years ago and went, "Ewww. Lame-o."
That movie was SO stupid that when Meg Ryan said her last name was Plate. I started laughing, hard - the kind of laughing that comes with stomach heaves and tears (I'm sure it was some kind of an emotional release) and I couldn't stop. The people in the theater were kicking my seat, and throwing popcorn at me. (I'm sure they were really wishing it was them that could release a bit of tension, like I was, over the lameness of the show)
Ha! I just saw it again on cable too. We were flipping through and my husband stopped on it. My shock was such that I couldn't even properly make fun of him. So we watched a good hour or so of it. An hour or so that I can't have back. So. So. Lame.
I only liked that part of the movie was filmed in Lake Tahoe. I am from there and there were all of these road closures when they were filming. So that part was fun. EVERYTHING else was STUPID!
