I had a friend growing up whose Dad was passionate about his after vacation slide shows.  If I ever walked into her house and saw the screen set up in the living room and her Dad on the floor, fiddling with controls, I knew I had to walk faster to avoid being cornered.  One strategy for avoiding the dreaded slide show was to mutter something about having "female issues" while rushing to the bathroom - from there, we had access outside through a set of french doors where freedom awaited.  Well folks, today I am my friend's Dad.  Except you don't need any clever excuses to get out of it, you can just go on to your next daily blog read if you'd like and I will never know.  For those of you who wish to pop some popcorn and stay awhile, here are some photos from our recent adventures.

Yellowstone National Park

This is Drew's Daniel Boone look - he wore that hat the entire 2 days we spent in Yellowstone!

Montana a.k.a. "Big Sky Country"

Thanks Again to our Fabulous Hosts who made it all possible!

Just a guess, but I think you're prettier than your friend's dad. That means your photos are prettier and that means no female issues for me. :D

Hey where's the love? I was a host too, or maybe since Cory hated the fishing here you have blocked it out of your memory.

Jill: I thought I was being nice leaving out the picture of you with your face shoved into the middle of a watermelon. Was I wrong?

Your pictures are awesome! I loved slideshows growing up. Usually they were old pictures of us and thus thoroughly entertaining.

What you don't know is that we all love vacation pictures! Especially when they are taken by you with your talent and of such frickin beautiful places!

P.S. Thanks for the info on the discount. We might be taking you up on it soon as Ryan's pole got broken on our last trip.

Wait were we friends? Was that my dad that you knew? Seriously? I guess I AM getting old... I can't remember you. But I DO remember the slides.

And I loved all your pictures (just like I love my dad's slides -- really)

So we just got back from our own 2 days in Yellowstone and after looking at your pictures, I have to say your Drew and my Ethan must be soulmates. He too found the same hate and wore it the entire time we were there.
