Mother's Day

Mother's Day highlight: Cory made me crepes for breakfast.
Lowlight: Drew was given a handout at church to fill in about his mom. For example:
If I could give my mother anything, I'd give her a ________________.
I love my mother because ____________________.
It was a lengthy handout, so most of Drew's spaces were left blank. However, he managed to fill in the following:
The first thing my mother does when she wakes up is...SHE SLEEPS IN.
He knows me so well.

Hey, any primary president who puts out a questionnaire like that deserves what she gets. It's all in the Karma.

Travis let me sleep in too- till 9 and then at ten I went to go read a book in bed and fell right back to sleep till 11!!! I haven't done that in years. That was the best present in the world. so it sounds like your kids know the truely best gifts in life. You have taught then well so it doesn't matter that the rest of the lines were blank.

I broke all the rules. I stayed home from church. I thought about calling Kettie and seeing if she wanted to go sit in on a movie, but fugured she was way more rightous than I am so I just did nothing all day.

My husband made crepes too. Was there a talk show that suggested this or something?

Yeah for a Happy Mom's Day! I always dread those survey's and questionaires...my kids always say the most untrue and random things.

My son wrote on his that the best advice I ever gave him was, "Stay in school, Son."

What the???

The only thing I asked for, for Mother's Day, was to sleep in until 9:45. They made it all the way to 9:40 - and it was great!
